Who Should Attend:     This hands-on course is designed to present the skills and knowledge necessary to use QuickBooks, the newest version of Intuit’s popular account software. The student will learn how to set up a basic company.  Beginning with introducing basic accounting terms and creating a “chart of accounts” the student will learn how to work with QuickBooks including accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank register, inventory, journal entries, and creating/printing reports.

          Chapter 5 - Creating Sales, Service and Inventory Items

Daily Operations Using QuickBooks (12 hours)

          Chapter 9 - Invoicing Customers

          Chapter 10 - Receiving and Tracking Customer Payments

          Chapter 11 - Managing Vendor Bills

          Chapter 12 – Paying Vendors

          Chapter 13 - Working with Bank and Credit Card Accounts

          Chapter 14 - Reconciling Bank Accounts

          Chapter 15 – Using On-line Banking Services

          Chapter 19 – Journal Entries

Financial Planning (Last 2 hours)

          Chapter 20 - Accountant’s Copy

          Chapter 21 - Creating Reports and Analyzing QuickBooks Information

          Chapter 28 – Customizing QuickBooks
