Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS)

Choose 1 of 2 or both certifications:

• MCTS: Windows 7 Professional

• MCTS: Windows Server 2008 with Active Directory

Demonstrate your specialized technical expertise with a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certification. By earning this certification, you can prove your ability to successfully implement, build on, troubleshoot, and configure  Microsoft Windows 7 Professional, Windows Server 2008 with Active Directory or both.

MCTS candidates are required to pass one (1) exam for each certification.           Exam 70-680 for Windows 7 or Exam 70-640 for Windows Server 2008.  

The following Allegheny Valley Institute of Technology courses are designed to help you prepare for these exams: 

CT122 - Installing, Configuring and Administering Windows 7 Professional

or

CT210 - Installing, Configuring and Administering Windows Server 2008 with AD

Total cost:   $1,495 for each course (includes materials, exam prep and exam.)

Length of Program:  7 weeks (6 hours per week)

                                Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday

                                6:00PM until 9:15PM

or Saturdays 9:00AM until 1:00PM
